I think this year has some of the worst snubs in the history of the Academy Awards. I’ll bold the winners that I actually think deserve to win over those who were snubbed.

(But really none of these…)

Bernice Bejo 
(It’s obvious they purposely excluded “Melancholia” to stick it to Von Trier here… we all know The Help doesn’t deserve this much recognition, especially two nominations in this category…)

Best Doc:
Pina

Best Original Screenplay:
Midnight in Paris

Best Adapted Screenplay:
Hugo

Best Foreign Film:
A Separation

Best Animated Feature:
Rango
 
Best Original Score:
The Artist 

Best Film Editing:
Hugo or Girl With Dragon Tattoo 

Best Art Direction:
Hugo 

Costume:
Jane Eyre (I didn’t see this film but… heh heh)
